Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions  govern the services provided by SKCM LTD ( Speedy Kiwi Cleaning and  Maintenance , (“we", "us", or "our") to the client ("Client", "you", or "your"). By scheduling our services (via phone, email, or in person), you agree to the following terms:

 

1. Services Provided

SKCM ltd provides residential and/or commercial cleaning services as discussed and agreed upon directly with the client. All services must be arranged and confirmed by phone, email, or in-person communication. No online booking is available at this time.

 

2. Pricing and Payments

  • Prices are based on the scope of work agreed upon at the time of scheduling.

  • Additional charges may apply for excessive mess, pet hair, stains, or special requests.

  • Payment is due on the day of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Accepted payment methods: cash, bank transfer.

  • Late payments may be subject to additional fees.

 

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • You must notify SKCM ltd of any cancellations or rescheduling at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a 50% cancellation fee.

  • If we are unable to access the property on the day of service, the full service fee will be charged.

 

4. Access to Property

  • It is your responsibility to ensure access to the property at the scheduled time.

  • If we cannot enter the premises, we reserve the right to charge the full service amount.

  • Keys or entry codes must be provided in advance if the client will not be present.

 

5. Satisfaction Guarantee

  • If you are not satisfied with our service, please notify us within 24 hours of the cleaning.

  • We will return to re-clean the affected area(s) at no additional cost, subject to our discretion.

  • Complaints received after 24 hours may not be eligible for a re-clean.

 

6. Client Responsibilities

  • Please secure valuables and fragile items prior to our arrival.

  • The property must have running water, electricity, and be safe for our staff to enter.

  • Inform us of any specific instructions, allergies (to cleaning products), or areas requiring extra attention.

 

7. Limitations of Liability

  • SKCM ltd is not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or undisclosed fragile items.

  • We are not liable for damage caused by faulty fixtures, loose fittings, or poor structural integrity.

  • Liability for damage is limited to the cost of repair or replacement, subject to insurance terms.

 

8. Insurance and Damage Claims

  • SKCM ltd holds valid public liability insurance.

  • Any damages or losses must be reported within 24 hours of service for a claim to be considered.

  • All claims are subject to investigation.

 

9. Health & Safety

  • We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are deemed hazardous or unsafe.

  • We do not handle bodily fluids, mould, pest infestations, or hazardous waste.

  • You must disclose any known risks or unsafe areas before the service begins.

 

10. Termination of Service

SKCM ltd may cancel or refuse service if:

  • Payment is not made

  • Staff experience abuse, threats, or unsafe conditions

  • There is a breach of these Terms and Conditions

 

11. Amendments

These Terms and Conditions may be updated by SKCM ltd at any time. Clients will be informed of any significant changes verbally or via email/text.

 

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Auckland  Any disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of that region.
